Third Friday Members Ride!
Our first official fall ride of the season! We’re kicking off member rides again, so come ride & hang with fellow Bike People members!
On this third Friday ride, we’ll be heading from the shop to an undisclosed establishment which will be a solid little ride from the shop (10-12 miles total, 12mph-ish but no drop). We’ll hang there for a drink or two, then head out for some more riding before we head back to the shop for a bonfire!

Vintage Mountain Bike Coffee Ride!
Bust out your 90’s and early 2000’s vintage mountain bikes for this morning meetup and ride! We love getting a bunch of cool bikes together in one place so if youre holding onto a cool vintage mountain bike, we better see you there!
Meet up at the shop ready to roll out at 9am for coffee at TBD spot somewhere a few mile’s ride away! Definitely under 10 miles total and a nice sluggish pace for these 26” wheels!
All bike welcome because at the end of day we just wanna see you but do try to roll up on a ole’ mtb if you have access!

Bianchi Italiano Ride!
Mama Mia! This rides for the Bianchi’s of Indy!
Wake up early, and bring out your Bianchi (or whatever bike really) for an Italiano-themed ride through the fall morning air of downtown Indianapolis. On our Bianci’s (or pretend Bianchi if you really want to attend but don’t own one), we’ll weave our way through the closed down streets of Cottage Home to see the pre-block party sights in the early morning glow, and make our way slowly across town to the southern edge of downtown to Pronto Cafe by Iozzos where we’ll down some espressos, cappuccinos, and tiramisu cookies! We’ll head back to the shop afterwards where you can do some more shopping at Bike People or grab a snack or drink from our neighbors at NSP, or even more espressos at Neverhome Coffee.

BikeParty Indianapolis Halloween Ride!
Join us at Bike People for a ride to the BikeParty Indianapolis starting point! Bike Party starts around 7:30 or so so we’ll leave the shop by 7!
Inaugural Shop Mobile Fest
Bike People , NSP, & Tomorrow Books are hosting Indy’s Inaugural Shop Mobile Fest!
Come enjoy local mobile shops, artisans, and artists on NSP’s beautiful patio. NSP will be serving their full menu, Neverhome Coffee will be open the first half of the event, and Bike People will be offering complimentary bike inspections & quick tune ups for those who bike to the event!

August Bike Movie Night - Peewee's Big Adventure
Bike People is back with another outdoor summer movie night! This week we’re going back to the 90’s with Peewee’s Big Adventure. Grab some pillows, blankets, or chairs, and join us out on the NSP Patio for another cozy night together taking in another bike-flick!
If you’re into sugary sweets, arrive at 7:30 for the short group ride over to the worlds greatest candy store, Rocket Fizz, over on Monument Circle to stock up on some movie treats! Ride should end by dark, and the movie starts right at dark!

Bike People Craft Night - Collage Making!
Let’s close down the shop Friday night, grab a drink next door from NSP, and make some bike-themed collages! We’ll have some bike magazines to share, but please do bring any old copies of any bike publications you don’t mind sharing. We’ll provide the glue sticks, the scissors, and paper!
We’re looking forward to getting everybody together for a fun little evening of creating!

Join the shop and Natural State Provisions for a community outdoor screening of the film “Bicycle Thieves”!
We’ll be doing a premovie ride out to Rocket Fizz around 7:30pm to the Circle to load up on candy and snacks to supplement NSP’s bar and food!

Bike People Zine #2 Release Party
We’re releasing our Second Shop Zine!
Back in April, we hosted a Bike Portrait Day, where anyone in the community could come out and get a picture with their Bike.
Bike Portraits w/ Blair!
Show up with your favorite bicycle and your favorite outfit and get a FREE bike portrait taken! You’ll receive a free copy of your portrait as well as a chance to be featured in the Bike People Zine, Volume #2, coming out this year. Coffee served by Never Home and lunch/bar by Natural State Provisions!
Bike People Book Club Meeting!
We’ll be meeting to discuss H.G. Welles fantastical “The Wheels of Chance”.
Our book club is simple, read the book ahead of the March 28th morning meeting, and we’ll meet at the shop, grab a drink from Neverhome Coffee next door, and discuss the book in a lead discussion by our shop pal, Blair.

Bike People @CIBA Swap Meet
Bike People will be hosting a table at the annual CIBA Swap Meet! Come thru for a $20 winter wipe-down and quick tune of your bike! We’ll have some discounted shop merch , closeout parts & accessories, and $5 tubes (while supplies last!). Come say wassup and hang, it’s our first time at this event!
Bike Repair Clinic - Changing a flat
This one is for our members! We’ll close down the shop for you and the rest of the Club to learn from Matt and Mo, step by step, how to change a flat, and the minimum tools necessary.
Each member will leave with hands-on experience of changing a flat, AND a drink token for a draft beer or Mexi-Coke to celebrate afterwards with the club!

Get your ticket for this epic guided bikepacking adventure loop, starting and ending from Bloomington, Indiana! We’ll hit every riding surface including some singletrack, and be huffing and puffing walking our bikes up some washed out trails! Are you into type-2 fun with other thrill-seeking goofballs? Join Bike People for our first ever Bike Prom! A bike-themed unformal night of fun! Ask that special someone to the dance and put together a fun outfit: think bright colored tuxedos & shiny sequins, it’ll be a sensory sensation!
We’ll meet up first at Monument Circle for a quick pre-dance outdoor photo op, before a leisurely roll downtown towards Bike people for the Bike Prom, where we’ll get down for a night of music, dance, and good company at Bike People in Factory Arts District!

Red Bull Roundabout Rumble
Get amped for Red Bull & Indy’s first ever Red Bull Roundabout Rumble!
Racers will speed around the Monument on a short track for a Criterion Race unlike nothing we’ve seen!
Red Bull has recognized Indy as a vibrant cycling scene, we’re here for it, and we’re definitely gonna turn up!

Spring Break Shop Ride! Belmont Beach + Tacos!
Indy technically has all we need to do spring break up right: a beach, tacos, and margs!
Join us as we head to Belmont Beach to hear the ocean (the dam), get a wiff of that cool White River sea breeze, before we roll to some tacos & margs to top off the night before riding back to shop.

Redbull Bike Party Pregame Open House
BikeParty gets everybody together, so we’re hosting a lil’ in-shop BikeParty pregame open house with our pals at Red Bull!
With the announcement of the April 5th Red Bull Roundabout Criterion Race, we’re hosting some of the Red Bull team to help answers questions for interested racers and community members. It both a party and a chill info-sesh, if you will.
Redbull Roundabout Rumble Criterion Race
Redbull is getting back to it’s community roots and is throwing our Indy bike scene a lil’ race shindig downtown to kick off our 2025 Cycling Season! Come not only cheer on the racers, but show up in force for the bike community to celebrate this recognition of our City as a cycling capital.
